Solution Background
With the continued promotion of international education concepts in China, an
increasing number of international schools are establishing modern campuses
nationwide. Unlike traditional schools, international schools typically adopt a
digital education model centered on “smart classrooms + mobile learning + cloud
platforms.” Student devices are primarily wireless terminals such as laptops and
tablets, placing higher demands on network bandwidth, stability, and coverage.
As this international school expanded across the country, it began to face serious
challenges due to aging core network equipment, complex wireless environments, and
low O&M efficiency. These issues severely impacted the operation of day-to-day
teaching and teaching management systems—especially during peak usage periods, when
frequent disconnections, latency, and access failures disrupted the experience for
both students and teachers. To address these challenges, the school decided to
comprehensively upgrade its existing network architecture and enhance its digital
teaching capabilities.
Solution Overview
This network optimization project includes three core components: core switch replacement, wireless AP upgrade, and foundational network O&M services. We designed a full-stack network reconstruction solution—from core to access—tailored to the campus's current infrastructure and future scalability needs, resulting in a high-performance, manageable, and sustainable teaching network system.
- Core Switch Replacement: The original core switches faced significant performance bottlenecks. New-generation 10G core switches were deployed to support high-concurrency environments such as teaching systems, video conferencing, and library platforms requiring high bandwidth.
- Wireless Network Upgrade: All wireless APs across the campus were replaced with Wi-Fi 6E devices to improve coverage range and endpoint density. Signal quality was optimized in high-traffic areas including academic buildings, gymnasiums, and libraries.
- Infrastructure O&M: Scheduled on-site inspections, as well as both remote and on-site technical support, were provided to enhance maintainability and enable visualized network management.

Key Advantages
- High-Performance Core Network Architecture: Redundant 10G core switching ensures stable operations for large-scale concurrent services.
- High-Density Wireless Access: Wi-Fi 6E technology supports more devices and delivers stable bandwidth per user.
- Refined Wireless Planning: APs deployed based on floor structure and actual usage density, optimized channel interference.
- End-to-End Visualized O&M: A unified management platform provides real-time monitoring of device status, traffic, and alerts.
- Excellent Scalability: Bandwidth and port capacity are reserved for future expansion such as new buildings or additional devices.
Customer Pain Points & Challenges
- Aging Core Switches: Legacy core switches offered insufficient port speed, frequent conflicts, and obvious forwarding bottlenecks.
- Inconsistent Wireless Coverage: Signal was especially weak in teaching buildings and dormitories, with high latency.
- Diverse Equipment Models: Lack of a unified management platform made configuration complex and O&M labor-intensive.
- Incomplete Network Documentation: Hindered on-site troubleshooting and posed hidden security risks.
- Limited IT Personnel: The in-house IT team lacked continuous optimization capabilities and was heavily reliant on external support.
Customer Benefits
- Significantly Improved Network Stability: Supports smart classrooms, multimedia teaching, and online exams reliably.
- Enhanced Wireless Experience: Teachers and students benefit from higher connection success rates and better bandwidth utilization.
- Lower Failure Rates: Reduces the time required to resolve daily IT issues.
- Standardized & Visualized O&M: Lightens IT team workload and improves O&M efficiency.
- Future-Ready Infrastructure: Provides a flexible network foundation for smart campus upgrades, cloud-based teaching, and IoT device integration.
- Comprehensive Technical Support: Strengthens the school's overall digital capabilities through systematic services.
